Hey all!!
Based on the title YOU ALREADY KNOWW how stoked I am to be writing about this 🙂 I saw the one and only HARRY EDWARD STYLES!
it was such a fun time and i am very glad i was able to experience this night. I am actually going to a few shows so this was the first one. My sister and our one other friend went together. It was a Sunday so we found some banger street parking. We spent the day in the city and then headed to MSG art around 7:15pm!
when we got there we stood in line for merch which always takes long but it’s WORTH IT. gotta do what you gotta do i wanted that merch. After the merch we headed to our seats which were PRETTY DARN GOOD in my opinion and the opening act was on!
The opening act was Blood Orange and honestly they had some pretty nice bops. I really liked their vibe and they were just having so much fun on stage. One of the guys had long dreads and it really gave a vibey performance and I enjoyed it a lot.
they even performed a new song of theirs!
after Blood Orange performed it was now waiting time for Harry! i absolutely loveeeee the anticipation and moments before lights out because it is SOO EXCITING! they played such good songs and the crowd went wild when the first song was Best Song Ever by One Direction. Truly a good time including New York State of Mind, Bohemian Rhapsody, the elevator music before he comes on and etc.
All of a sudden 9pm rolls around and speaking of rolling around he comes out being rolled in a little box by production and is put under the stage! crowd went wild. But… the crowd ACTUALLY went wild when the pre introduction video came on and 3, 2, 1, LIGHTS OUT!! it was show time and i was a happy girl.
He opened the show up with Daydreaming and THAT IS MY FAVORITE SONG!!! it is absolutely sooo fanatically good and i loved it love even more idek how it’s possible but it is. He had such great energy and so did the crowd. I have this performance a solid 10/10. Or actually no the whole set was a 28881828/10 of course.
After Daydreaming he sang a few other songs and then talked to the crowd! It was someone’s birthday so we all sang happy birthday to them. Someone sold feet pics to be there and Harry was concerned. Some people threw glasses up on stage and he wore them. Someone threw a tshirt on stage and he grabbed it etc.
I was on cloud 9. During this whole time I am like, “is this real life?” and thankfully IT WAS. i cant fathom to you how in my element and happy i was. 🙂
some other hardcore bops included Love of My Life , ugh so good live. Keep Driving, Satellite, Little Freak, ugh also so good live the chorus is just :’) ah
And of course what would a concert be if i didn’t let you know that we made eye contact? multiple times of course :p
I absolutely LOVED his outfit hehe. Our show may have gotten the best one yet the vests are ALWAYSSSSS my favorite. :’)
Bryan Adams was there in the crowd so he dedicated As It Was to him because his first sign that he ever performed on stage was Summer of ‘69 when he was 15 years old in his school band, White Eskimo right? 🙂 so he waved near backstage and there he sang it, full of energy and happiness, just like me 🙂 i REALLY should have joined him up on stage. my energy would have been through the roof i think i would have gave a great performance with him too amiright!
It was so sad when it came to a close. He asked “ARE YOU READY TO BRING IT HOME?” “YESS!” we all said. “ARE YOU READY TO GO HOME?” he then said. “NOOOOO!!” we all exclaimed. hahaha we were not i loved every minute of this.
He closed the show out with Kiwi of course and what a banger rockstar he is. Splashed the crowd and gave it his ALL like he had been doing. Rockstar vibes are amazing and it was seriously the performance of a lifetime, like they all are of course. That song is amazing and is such a good closer.
Other sweet songs that meant a lot to him were Matilda and Sign of the Times. His passions are what get me through and makes me sooo more in love with him and his music! Treat People With Kindness always brings great energy because of course it’s true you should TPWK! Daylight was also amazing. ALL OF THEM WERE AHH.
I also loved What Makes You Beautiful because a throwback we all get nostalgic about. I pretty much loved every song if you could not tell!
All in all, it was such a great night. I am so thankful I was able to experience him live like I was and I am so eager and excited to see him again. If his team could hire me that would be great. I would love to tour, with him I’d be a rockstar there I know it.
Thank you so much for reading along! I hope you enjoyed as much as I did. This was another experience of a lifetime and I am so beyond grateful to be with him live in the flesh it’s a feeling like no other, i mean it. I highly recommend checking him out on tour if you can, again thank you all ily!
Until next time, Peace fam!
– Andie 🙂 ✌🏻
