Hiiii! Back with another post. I have to retype my VMAs experience so stay tuned for that. In this post I am going to be talking about my awesome Jonas Brothers Concert experiences!! I attended both New Jersey shows. So Friday November 22, 2019 was at Prudential Center and Friday November 29, 2019 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
So the Prudential show was awesome of course. I went with my two friends from home and sat at an upper section which was still great. We got there as Jordan McGraw was finishing up and Bebe Rexha was about to perform. Very talented individuals! Bebe brought up an audience member for a song and honestly goals! That looked so fun if I went on stage that would be epic. Definitely a fun memory of a lifetime.
After Bebe Rexha was done performing it was almost Jonas Brothers time!! So excited. Everyone was waiting impatiently for the bros to get on stage. We were so high up we got to see them walking backstage! Honestly cool I bet I’ll be there one day 😉 As we were waiting there was a pretty cool dj getting the crowd amped up with some good tunes. He played a lot of good classics including “Dancing Queen” by ABBA. Which was awesome because my friends and I LOVEE David Dobrik and yes it reminded us of him. Definitely got us jamming and pumped up before the show started again!
So waiting patiently for lights to go out. 3….2…..1…. LIGHTS OUT! Crowd goes wild and their song Rollercoaster start playing, very sentimental. The Jonas Brothers come down from a platform above the stage.. kinda like they were floating, pretty cool stuff. So after the concert started time flew by. they played so many great songs from their new album Happiness Begins, by which happiness was definitely there 🙂
They also played old throwback songs which I LOVED and everyone too. My favorite was honestly all of them.😂 I loved the fun production and stage setup for Cake by the ocean, which the inflatable guys that wave and move all over, ha. I loved Year 3000, Lovebug, Comeback, Hesitate, Burnin’ Up, Gotta Find You. Pretty much all of them yeah 😜🙌🏼.
Some of the songs hit me in the feels and some of the songs got me jamming so hard with my friends. Every time I go to a concert, it makes me so excited and motivated to pursue a career in the music / entertainment industry. I definitely am going for the path to work with artists and celebrities, it is going to be so awesome and fun! 🙂
They took some fan favorite songs on the B stage and ran across many of the fans from the pathway to each stage. Mandy was a classic song they sang along with Fly With Me, and That’s Just The Way We Roll!! Love that one and such great bops.
As the concert was ending, I could not believe how fast it went. The closed after the encore with Burnin’ Up and their first newest song Sucker. I had such a great time and very thankful for that night.
After the concert, my sister and I stayed at my friends’ apartment at NJIT, where she goes to college. It was a fun night for sure and enjoyed the time!
I will have another post immediatley after this one talking about the next weekends Jonas Brothers concert in Atlantic City!
