Party101 With Matt Bennett! Asbury Lanes 11/23/24

heyy yallll! this was such a fun night. Matt Bennett knows how to party. And the best part is where it is where i’ve grown up, honored to live near once of his fav venues. This night was full of amazing throwbacks and every song worthy of screaming the lyrics to.

He had an opener go on, Erin Constantine who is also a Jersey girl and her set was lit. Erin played so many bangers. I was like we are already starting off strong here. Every song i was jumping and singing along to with my friends. Definitely got us hyped for sure! She knows how to party too!

Her set was like a sneak peak of what we were getting with Matt and it was great, all the songs were also amazing scream-the-lyrics-dancing worthy jams. Erin added to the excitement and fun had for the night, happy she was there to party with us too!

Next up, Matt Bennett came out! Like honestly, what a fun time. His energy is unmatched and I aspire to have that much fun as my career too. Within the first couple of songs, he came out into the crowd! This was so cool because he was singing, “Beggin’ On Your Knees” from Victorious. Classic banger on it’s own. He came into the crowd and made his way and crossed my path! He pointed the mic to let me sing in it for one very small part because he was moving so fast. But it was so cool that the mic was even pointed at me! I was perceived as a human singing along in that moment LMAO. it was so fun i loved that he did that. It made my night even better. The set already started off SO STRONG.

He played so many great stuff you wouldn’t even imagine. From theme songs to personal anthems, every song was THAT BEAT.

Some theme songs included Drake & Josh, Jessie, Spongebob, Big Time Rush, and so many more. It was about a 2 hour set so you could imagine how many bangers were included.

“This Is Me” from Camp Rock was a jam, “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction, “Enchanted” by Taylor Swift, “Who Says” by Selena Gomez I jammed hard on. There’s so many songs i am missing here too because there were so many good ones. If I could name every song one by one I would. That’s why you gotta get your butt to a Party101 event. I wanna go to these events again and again, I’d go on tour with them lmao. Every song was my favorite and I love jamming and partying with like-minded friends and peeps.

I also went hard on songs from classic movies like, “Bet On It” from High School Musical 2, “Breaking Free” from High School Musical 1. Cruisin’ For A Bruisin’ from Teen Beach Movie, the song is so fun to do the dance to. Also, “She’s So Gone” from Lemonade Mouth. YALLL THAT SONGS AMAZING. everyone feels liberated singing and dancing to that song like the movie. Like remembering back on this night, there are so many songs on the set list and all of them were my favorites. I am not even kidding.

Matt of course added amazing Victorious songs like, “Freak The Freak Out”. I wanna do the microphone move thingy too (yk what i mean) like in the song on the show. It looks so fun. That was my favorite episode of Victorious ever so jamming to it live with MATT BENNETT himself was a core memory for sure.

Matt’s energy is like no other. I truly wanted to get up on stage and dance with him and have so much fun like that.

It just looks like so much fun to be up on that stage and share the beats that we all know and love with the crowd. I love his mix of being up at the DJ table dancing, to prancing around the stage, to coming into the crowd, and everything in between, so so much fun even being able to be there.

“Sweet Victory” was such a fun song. My friends and I were shook and so surprised to hear that in a good way. We LOVE Spongebob. He also played that theme song of course too.

“Something About The Sunshine” and “Burnin’ Up” were also so fun. Matt came into the crowd and let someone rap that one part.

The Rotisserie chicken got raffled at the end of the set which I loved because it’s for such a great cause for charity, the donations you bring to enter the raffle. He also went around with the coconut at the end of the show and a cool guy names Mike got it lmao. But my friends and I actually ended up with one too :’) After the show, we got in line, and he did a meet & greet! Matt and Erin even signed my boot I was wearing at the time for my ankle!

When it was my turn to meet Matt, he was so attentive and genuine with us. We were last in line so it was really cool. I was talking about acting with him and all of that and I loved how helpful he was with me. He was asking me questions and even asked me to send my acting reel to him!

(i did message Matt and the Party101 account on Instagram and they haven’t seen it yet but still cool he even asked me to send it to him lmao).

All in all, this was my kind of night out. I cannot even fathom to you how EVERY SINGLE SONG i was singing and dancing too. LIke this is the kind of music i listen to and love dancing to at the clubs yk. Matt should be a regular performer at Asbury Lanes because of his amazing energy and music mashup, I am just so thankful he loves it here and wants to perform for us :’) I HIGHLY recommend Party101 with Matt Bennett!
