Conan Gray Found Heaven Tour in Philly (VIP)! (amazing)

heyyy back at it again with another concert blog. woohoo! Yesterday (October 2, 2024) i saw Conan Gray in Philadelphia! At the Highmark Skyline Stage at The Mann. (which the skyline of Philly was amazing especially with all the lights at night too).

We actually went to a Niall Horan concert at the TD Pavilion there which is the same venue just different stages.

my sister katie and I had VIP which was the Q&A Package. So we got early entry, some cute fun lil merch items, and he answered some questions! Our check-in was at 4:30pm and we got there around 3:30pm and there were definitely a lot of people there since it was a GA stage. So thankful we had VIP and early entry so we were able to snag the 3rd row of people 🙂

Immediately when we got in line before the Q&A we met these girls who we instantly clicked with! like instant besties it was so awesome we stayed with each other the whole show, love that!

when it was time to go in they kept the line very well organized and in order from who was there and wristbanded first which was extremely fair i liked how they did that even though we weren’t in that first group.

We got to go inside, get merch and wait to be let in where the stage is. Once we copped merch (i got a tour tshirt of course), we waited and then they lined us up organized once again and let us in by the stage before the Q&A. That’s when we were able to get 3rd row! i loved it we were so close. very thankful. Right near the center too.

He came out for the Q&A and answered some fun lil questions. My questions weren’t asked but they were still fun of course haha. I loved the question about his song “Bourgeoisieses”. He explained how this song was made for fun and wasn’t going to be on the album until his friends voted that he does.

I also liked the question where someone asked how does he feel about eating pizza with a fork and knife. “I don’t care” he says. Which is so true like you do you it does not matter. He went on to be silly and goofy and explain but yeah i loved that. He explained to us his voice was lost (prior night was MSG and also a festival) but his voice still sounded great regardless. Good on him honestly for still sounding amazing.

After the Q&A we had some downtime before the opening act, Maisie Peters. We chatted, chilled and was excited for the show to start.

7:30pm rolled around and lights out! The opener began. Maisie Peters is actually very talented.

She did so great performing and her voice was genuinely and authentically really pleasant sounding she deserves her success. She was a really nice person too it seemed like.

After her performance now we waited for Conan! 8:45pm rolled around and lights out again! He has a big curtain up so after the music started playing and it got to a certain beat, CURTAINS DROPPED! Conan was standing behind it and began his performance woop woop.

His first song was “Fainted Love” which if you haven’t heard of, is very catchy and a good beat for sure.

He has so many hits that i love and so many songs i can jam out too.

“Wish You Were Sober” is a great song i loved hearing.

“People Watching” is one of my most favorite songs if not my top favorite song of his. In the Q&A he said how this was one of his most fun music videos he has and i thought that too i really liked the music video for this song. He knows how to perform and make it fun. I love that song.

He had a little speech before “The Story” that was really sweet. He explained how he wasn’t scared of dying when he was a kid because he felt like he had nothing to lose but now he is terrified of dying because he has so much to lose and loves his life now. That is so personal and i thank him for sharing that. That was beautiful and sad all at once. But, “The Story” is a beautiful song people were sobbing and waving their phone lights. I love.

“Found Heaven” was another fun song and the name of his tour the “Found Heaven Tour”. “Boys & Girls” also is such a fun song had us all bopping around. His new album has a new sound of his for sure but all so catchy and fun too.

“Bourgeoisieses” came on and we all jumped and had fun with it like he asked too. Such a fun lil song to dance around to for real so silly and goofy i loved it. “Memories” was also a great song.

“Maniac” was part of the final songs in the encore and it’s such a classic. I loveeeee jamming and singing along to that song.

Conan and his band closed the show out with “Alley Rose” and near the end final big note of the song confetti flew out of the canon! that makes me so happy if there’s one part of the concert i love most stage effects wise it is the confetti! so powerful and euphoric:)

This was such a great show. I continue to love seeing Conan on tour and hope to more as well. The show went so fast but I am so thankful I was able to be there and also meet a couple of awesome new friends there too! I seriously love concerts they are my happy place, I want to be on the stage i would jam so hard with my favorite artists haha!

  1. The artists you write about should be grateful that you are there. You, and the others like you, put the wind in their sails
