Benson Boone Backflips in Brooklyn (amazing performance) (4/10/2024)

Hi!! I am so happy to be back so soon. My sister and I just saw Benson Boone live! He is one of our favorite artists and recently released his new album, Fireworks & Rollerblades. Let me tell you, there are NO SKIPS.

for pictures and videos please check out my instagram @andieseyr (wasn’t able to upload them here) 🙂

My sister and I arrive at the venue at around 6pm and doors open at 7. We were able to enter through a different entrance so there was not a lot of people in front of us thankfully. We were waiting for a bit talked with the people around us and just anticipated going in.

7pm comes rolling around and we were let in, immediately went to the merch table bought some tour shirts , made our way to the bathrooms, and then straight to the floor! AHH we got so close 🙂 my sister ended up going in the box that we had tickets for but i love being up close and personal to the stage so it worked out thankfully!

Mimi Webb was the opening act and she is so talented! Her voice is beautiful and her songs were really great and catchy. Overall, she was a really enjoyable opener!

After Mimi performed it was time to wait for Benson! Between this time we were packed in like sardines but it would be worth it. 9:15pm comes around, band comes on stage, lights out, AND HERE COMES BENSON. He went straight to the piano and played his “Intro” and “Be Someone” (a fav). I love it so much, super exciting.

Since his recent album JUST came out he sang a lot of songs from it. Which is amazing because i seriously love his album so much!

I can’t even list my favorite songs he sang because genuinely THEY ALL ARE! “Drunk In My Mind”, “Slow It Down”, “There She Goes”, “Be Someone”. Ugh all my favorites every song is so good!

It was really special, during the song, “In The Stars”, he asked everyone to put away their phones and just listen and sing along with no distractions. I absolutely loved that because of the songs meaning and it made it even more special we were all there in the moment with him. No phones. Just living in the moment to a beautiful song. I loved that.

He did so many backflips during his performance which was so cool! This man can do it all, so effortlessly those flips just come out of nowhere. It looks like he’s just walking and casually gets enough momentum to do them. It’s awesome. Even in his American Idol audition. love that so cool.

“Hello Love” and “Friend” were also so good. His voice has such a great amount of rasp to it and hits those high notes beautifully. So inspiring. He is so talented.

He ended the night with his hit song, “Beautiful Things”, which always has great energy. The first moment I heard that song i was blown away. His voice translates equally from his tracks and live. He can also play the piano so well and has such a beautiful sound together. He looked so happy, so grateful to be there and be able to see him too 🙂 This was a great song to end with the vibes were so greatly high.

Always so sad when the show ends but so grateful t have been there in the moment. During the show i just smiled to myself and was like “i am so happy to be here right now” :’)

After the show we went to the back, waited with 20 or so other people and got to meet him! SOO GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL. He was so nice and his band was so sweet too. His drummer Eric gave us some waters bless up.

Benson took my phone and took a video of us all. STILL SCREAMINGGGGGGGG. What a way to end the night. A thankful for living in the moment and creating new awesome memories.

This was a wonderful day and such a wonderful show. We fully experienced the concert and lived in the moment. So grateful for the opportunity to have received these tickets (thank you to my homie). He is so talented and I am excited to see him again hopefully soon, so thankful!:)

Thank you so much for reading along i hope you enjoyed as much as I did. Hope to write again to you guys soon! Peace fam -andie :)💛✌🏻
