Hi all! Wow what a fun filled past two days. I’m writing this the day after my two night experience at the JOBROS concert 🙂 It was so much fun. I had great seats both nights thankfully and was not expecting such an incredible time both nights. They had a 3 hour show and every second was incredible.
To start off, we got there night 1 & 2 at around 6pm. I went with my sister and friends. We got there, got our merch of course, and then headed to our seats. Lawrence the band opened up for the Jonas Brothers on this tour and they were really good! I am a fan for sure, and they are totally an independent band too which I love for them. Catchy music and solid performance. I love the high energy they had!
After Lawrence the band got got done with their set it was almsot go time!! In the VIP section behind us, their families came out and also Carlos from Big Time Rush was there too! Ahh loved it 🙂 Frankie Jonas was also there with his girlfriend and actually sang on stage during ther intermission on night 2 too.
Priyanka was there on night 1 and Kevin’s wife and daughters were there night 2. We knew that once they came out the show was very soon starting. so cute ah 🙂 once they came out 3,2,1, LIGHTS OUT!
Music started playing, their band came out and here we go!
They sang songs from all their five albums, including some songs from Camp Rock my favorite Disney movie fr. It was absolutely amazing.
They opened up the song with the song from their most recent album. The album with a song called “celebrate”, which was accurate, because we were celebrating the beginning of such a great night both nights. they went in order of their album, with sprinkles of their most recent albums in between. they started off with their album, self titled Jonas Brothers. This one popped off so great. my favorites from this album are “That’s just the way we roll”, (such an anthem), “Year 3000”, “When you look me in the eyes”. WHICH THAT SONG THEY CAME ON THE B-STAGE which we were right next to. I can’t fathom to how great the energy was. We were all screaming and dancing, and having such a great time.
Next, they sang songs from their most recent album called The Album. “Sail Away” is a favorite and “Little Bird” is just so cute ugh. The first night they dedicated this song to a fan who lost their dad and was his little bird 😦 so sweet of them to do that and you could feel the sobs. Night 2 Joe was crying at the end of the song and it melted my heart too 😦
A Little Bit Longer came next and BOY LET ME TELL YOU. So thankful that night 2 we were right next to the runway and B-stage! Thankful for the amazing view we had especially because some of my favorite songs were played. They went to the B-stage a few times throughout the concert which was so awesome 🙂 My favorites from this time on the B-Stage were “A little bit Longer” and “BB Good” they also sang “Introducing Me” and “Gotta Find You” right near us AHHHH! Then, they made their way back to the main stage and JOE looked at me multiple times just saying :p “Lovebug” always hits hard. And when they got to Burnin’ Up. Nights 1 AND 2, the “rEd DreESsS” part went HARDDD. Especially in night 1, I was standing in the perfect spot for that part, they came towards our side of the stage ☺️ Loved every minute of it.
An intermission came next and I was amped for it to continue and that we were only halfway through, both nights. During the intermission, they usually have a special guest perform. Night 1 was Nick himself hehe. He sang some songs from his solo albums! My favorites are “Close” and he also sang “This is Heaven” which I learned he hasn’t sang live in YEARS. SO awesome. And night 2, their lil bro Franklin sang one of his songs on stage during the intermission! I absolutely loved his energy. He is so cool and a great performer. I am so glad he is doing what he loves too and following his dreams performing too. Catchy song and great voice.
After Intermission, they came back on yay!! They sang some more songs from The Album next and let me tell you this album is so good. There’s really not any skips and I can’t even fathom how much i love them and their music. This little bit of the album my favorites were “Waffle House” and “Montana Sky”! They also sang “Miracle” and on night 2 at first Nick and Kevin came to the B-stage really quick during this song and soon went back on stage after. Because on night 2 they sang “Strong Enough”! This was for a pre-recorded performance for the New Year’s show!! AHHHH so exciting. My two friends a section in front of us on night 2 (who i actually went with in night 1) said the camera was right on them so hopefully they are really seen on tv too! :’)
After this set, they came back to B-Stage. Which again made eye contact with my man Joe on night 2:’) I am a Joe girl if you can’t tell. Night 1 I made eye contact with Kevin and Nick that was pretty cool.
They sang during this round on the B-Stage, “Fly With Me”. Which is another one of my favorites. It really is. They then sang a mashup of other songs from their album, Lines, Vines, and Trying Times. I loveeeee the song “Much Better” so hearing that song up close and personal on night 2 was monumental.
Their solo and side project songs came on next. Okay AHHHHH “Walls” is my absolute favorite within these songs. It truly is a spiritual experience. Especially night 2 having a great view i am so grateful for. We were right almost in the middle of the stage. It is so good. I also love “Like It’s Christmas”. Really gets me going in the holiday spirit so much both nights. They had fake snow come down it was great. They also sang “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You”, a Frankie Valli cover on night 2. Also “Cake By The Ocean”. Such a classic DNCE song and I love how the bandmates from Joe’s band is still in their band today. I loved the confetti during this too. Night 2 we were right under where the confetti came out. I loved it. SUCH a surreal experience ah so thankful.
Oh yeah and the drum cover on the front of the bass drum kept changing throughout each album. ICONIC RIGHT??! Nick rocked the drums at one point fr. Their drummer is also their original drummer from OG day 1 days too, so awesome.
They came back to the B-Stage one more time… and this….. this was amazing on night 2. Joe had the kiss cam and HAD THE PEOPLE DIRECTLY IN FRONT AND ME AND BEHIND ME ON THE BIG SCREEN. so i made it too hehe. On top of his eye contact towards me and the camera pointing near me, we had a great bonding moment hehe. :’) no like i love him so much and i am so happy that happened, even tho i wasn’t one of the couples of course it was still such an awesome and special experience. I will never forget that. Joe and I had a moment. :p
They sang songs from Happiness Begins. Another great album. Agh I am like sweating rn typing this bc I can’t express and fathom how much I love them. I really do. My favorites. “Rollercoaster” and “I Believe” are my favorites from this album. I just got the chills thinking about it. And night 2 on the B-Stage for “I Believe” ahh. “Rollercoaster” I love the emotion and power it has and they powerful lights on queue with the beats just like in “Walls” too.
Wow, how is it already almost the end? They made it back to main stage and closed out the set with their encore songs. “Leave Before You Love Me” feels ahh. And the last song was “Remember This” (just got chills again like wow). Because this song is so monumental and powerful it gets those emotions going. Like I will Remember This I will Remember how happy I have been for these 6 great hours these past two days. With the confetti and fireworks, I was speechless. Just so happy and pure serotonin right there. Such great energy ahh 🙂 ❤
