Hey all! Hope you all are having a splendid day. Back at it with another press conference blog this time featuring Liverpool alt-rock back The Mysterines! The Mysterines recently released their debut album Reeling and last year they were selected as one of Amazon Music UK’s Ones to Watch in 2022. They are already on a roll and have only just released their debut album.
The band has gone on tour with UK rock groups like Royal Blood, The Amazons and Sea Girls. The Mysterines have also been featured in NME, DIY Magazine, and many more!
I enjoyed this press conference as they seemed to be just real genuine people. Hearing them talk to us made it feel like we were besties having some normal conversations. Let me share a few questions and answers asked from various outlets.
Finesse Media asked The Mysterines what the most challenging part about creating their album was and how did they overcome it? They responded by explaining that the album was recorded in a two year long span and it was a very long process. They explained that it made them worn out but in the end it was worth it and I bet they would do it all over again.
They also talked about how they are just going with the flow and not really questioning their role because they are happy where they are at and what they are doing. Now that is a great mindset.
Gabby mentioned that the biggest obstacle while creating the album was that George got a concussion. Ouch! Glad everything was okay after that.
Another outlet asked what made them interested in music in the first place. He responded and said that his father played guitar all the time and he loved it. He was one of four. Then he starting playing gigs and loved the idea of playing music. He also explains how it was inevitable for him to be in music.
