HARRYWEEN NIGHT 1 MSG

HIIII ALL!!! I’m back with another exciting post:) Very eager to write this one because I attend yet ANOTHER Harry Styles concert at MSG! Except this was a SPECIAL show! I attended Harryween Night 1 10/30/2021!

My twin sister and I have been anticipated this show since 2019 before it got postponed due to Covid and let me tell you….. it was SOOOO worth the wait! Definitely a great outcome!:)

So let’s get into it

My twin sister and I decided we were going to head to the city pretty early to get a wristband in order to secure a good spot in line. We arrived there at MSG at around 10:45 almost 11am! We secured a numbered wristband and then ventured out and about in the city until it was time to line up.

5 o’clock starts to roll around and we get in line with our respective numbers that were on our wristbands. Let me tell you, I have said it before and will say it once again. I really love and ~ADORE~ if you will, how organized and professionally prepared MSG is with events as big and populated as this one. They keep everyone in order and even give us feee water bottles to stay hydrated, love that.

So once we are in line and get in the doors we get to our spots in general admission and WHEW we got close!:) Very thankful and grateful with how close my sister and I were to Harry. Basically in reaching distance of him. You’ll see.

There was A LOT of pushing going around but we stood our ground so no one went in front of us. It was very jam packed but luckily masks are required to stay one, thankfully because Harry is a woke King! Once we got our spots, there was about an hour and a half until the openers, in the mean time we talked and made friends and the people around us, and two girls next to us happen to go to the same college that we graduated from!! What a small world. Very good time making nice friends.

Fast forward to a couple of hours and the stage was being set up, loved that the crew was also dressed up, made me excited for what Harry and his band were going to dress up as;)

8:00pm hits and 3,2,1…. LIGHTS OUT!!! The first opener, Madison Cunningham, made her way onto the stage and the crowd goes wild! We are all soo excited because this means the show is starting and Harry will be on and getting ready soon too!

Madison Cunningham was very talented and performed quite well. She seems like a nice girl and deserves the opportunity to sing at MSG! She is great on the guitar and has a really talented voice. She played a few songs and the exited the stage!

Next up was Orville Peck!! Honestly, I haven’t heard of him before of this show but he was VERYY good as well! I am not super into country but he had an upbeat and maybeee some pop sounding to his music as well so it was good. He never shows his face but from his smile he reminded me of Channing Tatum a little bit and sounded a little bit similar to Elvis and his music and sound as well. Overall, I enjoyed Orville Peck. He performed very well too! He sang for a bit and headed off stage and this meant HARRY WAS NEXT AHH YAYY!!

An intermission between the last opening act and Harry was about 25 to 30 minutes and the anticipation was great, very amazing time hhahah. The stage crew started setting up and tuning the instruments. There was a crew guy dressed up in a piñata costume and another dressed up as a banana too, iconic iykyk. We were all SOOOO eager and excited:) It was almost time for Harry and his costume to arrive onto the stage.

Let’s fast forward to 9:30pm. Lights dim, his band gets onto the stage, crowd goes WILD and his pre-show message comes on the screen. After that you know the drill and what happens. 3,2,1…. LIGHTS OUT AND THE CROWD GOES EVEN MORE WILD!!! AHHH I AM EXCITED.

IMMEDIATELY he jumps on stage and I out loud go AWWWHHH!! He was dressed as Dorothy even with a basket and fake dog. He was just absolutely so cute and adorable skipping out onto the stage:’) His band was the characters from the Wizard of Oz and I am soooo here for that! Such a cute group idea for the band! Props to whoever thought of that hehe. He began skipping onto the stage and sang Golden! His performance was everything and we were just starting out the concert!! yass! I couldn’t believeeeeee how close we were to him, We were about in the third row of people in the pit to barricade!!! yayy i’m so happy.

He performed a few songs, talked to the crowd and was just astonished. I legitimately could see his facial features and every detail in his costume because he was like 5 feet away from me. I definitely made eye contact with him a few times. I was holding up a yellow sign so I know he read it:)

Let me tell you… this man’s energy makes me SOO HAPPYYY and SOOO EMOTIONAL. I soooo wanted to jump up on the stage with him and dance just as he was. I would’ve teared up the stage with him! The energy was amazing i definitely was matching that with him:’)

My favorites that he performed was Falling, Treat People With Kindness aka TPWK, Canyon Moon, and Somewhere Over The Rainbow aka a cover. So amazing and so beautiful. I loved his dancing, when he talked to the crowd, when he was just existing there on stage tbh, and his fun personality:) I love him so much beyond words as you can tell, I can go on for DAYSSS about him and I am sure you all know that!

At the END of the concert, excuse me as I am getting emotional and flustered even writing this part LMAO. But at the end of the concert, us as Harry fans and supporters knows that his splashing from his water bottle is an iconic staple during the song Kiwi. And…. low and behold HE SPLASHED ME WITH WATER!! I will never wash my left shoulder again lmao. I cant believe it, well I can actually. I am so happy and have never been this grateful for getting splashed with someone’s water bottle.

Kiwi is such a high energy song, the adrenaline was already pumping up and this made us so much better! What Makes You Beautiful was also such a high energy song that made me feel sooo alive and sooooo happy I myself and everyone else were jumping along SOOO hard with him:’) agh emotional once again.

Oh yeah, She was also an amazing song he performed.

I did not want the show to end. He is so grateful for us just as much as I am grateful for him and it shows:’) I truly believe he cares so much and we would be amazing friends one day.

I don’t even want to stop writing here because it was so great and there is sooo much to say! All in all, it was a great and amazing experience. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am so beyond grateful and so very thankful for the opportunity to be as close as 3rd row in the pit to the stage as we were! I will never take the for granted.
