Issam Alnajjar ”Mn Gheirik Enti”

Hey friends! Today I am going to be sharing another exciting post. This is a genre I have never gone into before but I have listened to the first Universal Arabic Music artist Issam Alnajjar’s newest track “Mn Gheirik Enti” and would like to share my thoughts about it.

Issam Alnajjar, the Republic Records and Universal Arabic Music artist is only 17 years old and his popularity sparked from tiktok! He is from Amman, Jordan and his track “Hadal Ahbek” was the first song released from Universal Arabic Music that blew up. Along with this accomplishment he even went on to achieve the first Arabic song in history to reach #1 on Shazam Global along with Spotify Viral Global charts. This is only the beginning for Issam!

Listening to the song, I was not able to understand the words, but it definitely caught my attention. The song “Mn Gheirik Enti” has a catchy beat that captivates your attention. I really did like the rhythm and beats that this song had.

I decided to look up what the lyrics mean in English so I could have a better understanding of the song. The song seems to be a love song. Issam is in love with this person but is wondering how he could ever be good enough for her.

It sounds that there is some sort of insecurity within this relationship he is going through. This conclusion came to me while reading the lyrics (in English), “I can’t believe that I’m enough for you” along with “How did you approve of me with all my flaws?” and “How aren’t you fed up yet?” (These translations came from camlyrics.com)

He is in his head so much saying that it feels like he is in a dream that he is awake in. He asks himself questions like what is missing. I really like that this song has meaning and substance to it. When I hear a song the main things I really want to enjoy is the beat and rhythm along with the words to it. A song can go a lot of ways if there is meaning behind it. Those are the songs that stick to people the most and touches them in the deepest roots of their body. If it comes from within and your feelings, it is a great and thoughtful song.

All in all I really enjoyed listening to Issam Alnajjar’s newest track “Mn Gheirik Enti“. Not only was the beat spot on with it’s catchiness, but it has great meaning to it too.

Listening to songs in different languages are always so cool too because it’s different and unique from the songs you hear on the radio. I really enjoy it and can’t wait for more songs by this artist along with diving into other artists who sing non-English songs as well now that I have listened more into this genre, which is so cool! Issam Alnajjar’s great career is just beginning and I am soo hear for it, the talent is very immaculate!
