Hey friends! Hope you are all doing well. I have another exciting post for you today. I am going to be sharing Justus Bennetts new single Real Life Sux. This song has an upbeat tone that makes you want to get up and start dancing around the pool or on the beach with friends.
Justus Bennetts is a new and up and coming Virgin Records artist that I know has a lot of potential to top the charts. His songs are catchy and makes you feel good. Justus grew up in a single parent household and was constantly around music since he was young as he was in a choir. He has been inspired by brilliant bands such as Green Day and Linkin Park, in which both bands have beloved songs and jams that everyone also loves. Justus has been a skillful songwriter and has captured the attention of many listeners. His song “Nightstand‘ is really where he found his sound.
I really enjoyed listening to his new song Real Life Sux. It has the ability to become the new Summer anthem everywhere. It has a catchy vibe and grabs your attention for sure. You will probably end up bopping your head or something while listening to it.
Not only is Justus Bennetts new song catchy, but it is also relatable to a lot of individuals, especially around my age, almost 22! The song Real Life Sux is about wanting to live out your dreams and how disheartening “real life” really is. Justus captures the meaning of wanting to live his life instead of working all day in the Summer. In the song he mentions how his highschool friends might be jealous but in the end he does not care because he wants to live out his dreams.
This is inspiring for many because if you have a dream you should definitely go out and live that dream. The worst is being miserable in your life because you feel like you have to live your life a certain way that everyone else thinks is normal. If you don’t want to live your typical nine to five job, there is nothing stopping you! People may judge and tell you that it is a bad idea but in the end following your heart and your dreams are the best way to go. No regrets!
I am all about living in the moment (I even have it tattoo’d on me) so this song has a lot of meaning to it. If your dreams are to work a fun nine to five job then go for it. If your dreams are to work a career that is different than the “norm” that many others may not take, such as the path of aspiring musicians or athletes, go for it too. Life is too short to live a normal life. Go have fun and live out your dreams. I am all about it. I am happy for everyone in their life paths because as long as you are happy, that is all that matters!
All in all, Justus Bennetts new single Real Life Sux is a great Summer bop. It has not only meaning to it, but a catchy vibe. I definitely recommend a listen or two or a 100! It is so exciting for the artist when other people can relate and jam out to their tunes with them. I am eager for more releases of his in the future, go live out your dreams!
