Z100 JINGEBALL at MSG 2019!!

Hiya! So I am back again to talk about the main JingleBall show and the concert in full.

It was pretty much pouring outside so most people were rushing into The Garden. We got there 30 minutes or so before the concert began and of course I got merch. We get to our seats and I a soo excited. I also notice a lot of people around us are of all different ages which was cool because there was a performer for everyone to enjoy.

The countdown from the screen from 10 began. 3…2….1….. JINGLEBALL began!! Lights out never gets old. AFter the countdown and introduction began, Taylor Swift was the first to perform. I have to admit, after seeing her perform live for the first time at the VMAs, I gotta say she is pretty good. I liked her set with awesome songs, some classics. It was also her birthday so after she performed the whole audience sang “Happy Birthday” to her.

After Taylor performed I got to anticipate some of my all time favorites, the Jonas Brothers had performed!! I love them so much I was thrilled when they came out on stage. They were amazing as always and performed new songs along with classic hits we all know and love such as “Burnin’ Up”. They also sang their new Christmas song “Like it’s Christmas” which truly is a bop and very catchy.

Some other performers I enjoyed was Lewis Capaldi, Niall Horan (of course), and 5 Seconds of Summer!! Lewis Capaldi is such a funny guy and has an amazing voice. He is going to be on tour with Niall and Fletcher next year which I am also very excited for. Fletcher was also a JingleBall performer, she is talented as well.

When it was Niall’s turn to perform I was soo pumped. Not everyone was standing because everyone had different music interest there but I was soo pumped for his set! More Niall for me to enjoy, ha! Niall came out singing “Mirrors” with his bright red pants and began singing like there was no tomorrow. I love his performances because he seems like a real guy who is just goofy, which I love and adore. At least everyone got up and jammed to “Slow Hands”. I love the way he changes up his voice and dances to that song. I love Niall so much.

5 Seconds of Summer was one of the last act’s to perform but I really do love them too. They never disappoint when I go to a live show of theirs and it has been too long since the last time I went to their tour because they have not been super close by again since about the Summer of 2018, same with Niall. They came on stage and I was jamming, they always know how to put on a great show. They can always get the crowd pumped, especially when they sang “She Looks so Perfect”, a classic song, most know. They had a lot of energy and I missed that. Could not believe how fast the set went, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

All the performers at JingleBall were quite enjoyable. Dan & Shay were great, have not heard them since my internship over the summer. Lizzo was one of the only artists to get the crowd of 20,000 people standing and singing along! It was nuts, I remember seeing her in the beginning of summer performing near me for maybe a couple hundred of people. I should have taken a picture with her when I had he chance and saw her walking on a sidewalk to a car, its okay the memory is still amazing!

The last to perform was Halsey and she performs really well! She has a great stage presence and such catchy songs. They a great songs and she was an awesome voice too. I think its awesome that out of all the JingleBall performers (from all around the world), so many of them were from New Jersey!! The Jonas Brothers, Halsey, and Fletcher!! The Jonas Brothers lived where I used to live pretty much and Fletcher also lived by me. There is still hope ah! That was very cool honestly.

Camila Cabello was also an amazing performer and when “Señorita” came on with Shawn on the screen for a second I LOST IT. So amazing :’) Lauv also made an appearance on the main stage which was awesome! He is a genuine guy. “i’m so tired” is a bop because he sings the studio version with Troye Sivan and I think they are both really good and the song it awesome! Monsta X were also good performers but I am not too familiar with their music.

When the concert ended it was kinda sad, such a long day filled with music and concerts which I absolutely loved. 11 hours of that is just so awesome.

After we got home it was super late, my sister Katie and I were tired, but we had such a great day, and were very thankful we were able to go and had the opportunity to receive tickets 🙂

Thank you for joining my experience at JingleBall with me and cannot wait for the next one!

Until next time!
