Heyyyyy there!
So today I am going to be talking about my most recent concert that took place at Stockton University, which is where I commute to college.
This concert was on Tuesday April 2, 2019. It started at about 7 pm but I got there earlier becasue I got to meet Jesse! It was like 5:45-6 pm and I entered the venue to meet him. I walk up and he greets me by introducing himself and I introduce myself right back. “Hi I’m Jesse, whats your name?” “My name is Andie” “Hi Andie, nice to meet you!” It was a pleasure getting to meet him and an amazing experience to get a picture and add to the list of awesome things I have done.
After meeting him I headed to the main area and got to stand in the front area also! Which was so awesome. I stood with a couple of friends and people who were in the same club as I was until some more of my friends got there…. which was a crazy hike for them to get through all of the people because they showed up after the concert had started.
Finally it was show time! There were two student opening acts who sang a couple of songs and they were very talented! After they came on we had to wait like quite a few minutes fo Jesse to come on… but it was worth it… made us wait a little bit but trust me it was okay, not too bad. Once he came out, he sang a bunch of songs that were truly bops. I of course had been listening to him for a few previous days before the concert so I could brush up and learn his songs! After doing that I honestly concluded that Jesse McCartney has mostly all bops which was fun. The songs he sang just had the crowd wanting to sing and dance pretty much the whole time.
My favorite songs that he sang were Body Language, Wasted, Better With You, Beautiful Sould.. of course… and Leavin’. They were so fun and he even brought someone on stage and sang to her and she was like freaking out. But i also learned that he wrote the song “Bleeding Love”. Which I did not know, but it is a great song. He obviously made eye contact with myself and my camera becasue I was right in the front so that was awesome. Good times.
After we sang his set PnB Rock came on shortly after. I am not a huge rap listener, but he does have good songs and I do like respect him as a persona nd an artist. So right before they came on there was LEGIT a heard of rap lovers who hovered and shoved their way to the front. ALSO one girl paid me $15 to switch spots with her so she could be in the front. ๐ Of course I was like yass okay. Once he came on it was nuts. People jumping all over so close to one aother along with people tripping and falling right on top of me and the others around. My friends and I left during the set becasue it was a bit too packed in that area. We escaped and wow breathig fresh and cold air felt amazing. But the set was still very good!
All in all a good show and a great experience! I enjoyed the time I had while at the concert and meet and greet.
