Welcome back, thanks for coming back to read the main and second part of my Jingle Ball day!
It was finally time to head to Madison Square Garden and see some of my all time favorite singers! Before we went in, me being me had to go around to the back and see if I was able to see stars walking in , which I did! We found were they were coming in and got so close to Alessia Cara and Bebe Rexha, these two I almost got to meet personally, they were talking to the people next to / in front of me and were like one foot away from me. We also got to see the cast of Jersey Shore (lmao) which they were right near / next us at one point in the venue too.
After I explored the awesomeness of where the stars walked in, my sister and I walked in ourselves. We scanned our tickets and finally entered! I was sooo very excited. We got to our seats and discovered that WE LEGIT COULD NOT SEE A THING, we were directly behind the stage which was not going to do. I. NEEDED. TO. SEE. SHAWN. IN. PERSON. But, I did get to see him and others “backstage” and getting prepared which was so cool.
The concert finally began and the first act was BTS, which I was not too familiar with so this was the time we had to figure out a better spot to sneak to. After that, Sabrina Carpenter and Bazzi preformed and I love their music they’re such bops. We decided to nonchlanetly walk towards the side of the stage….. we made it there successfully!! which is when I saw Sabrina Carpenter and Shawn Mendes backstage and I was yes freaking out. Sabrina was amazing, “Sue Me” is one of my favorite songs by her, so so catchy! But by the time Bazzi’s set ended, we got booted out of there WHOOPS. We needed to find an alternate way to watch and enjoy the concert. SOOOO we headed towards the other side of the stage. We were pretty set in the spot we got to next becasue these two guys who were just mainly there to see Calvin Harris let us stand in there spots. JUST IN TIME FOR SHAWN, yayayay!!
WOOWW, let me just say, that was my reaction after Shawn’s performance, he seriosuly never gets old, I could watch him 2378429 times in a year and still want to see him more. He played awesome and passionately as usual.
This was the longest oncert I had ever been too and enjoyed every single minute of it. I definitley am going to go back next year too! Some other favorites of the night was Alessia Cara, one of my all time favorites, I would love to see her on tour. Also saw Dua Lipa, so talented, Meghan Trainor, also talented, Camila, so fun, Khalid, awesome and still can’t believe he’s about my age, Bebe Rexha, she’s got some goooddd music, Calvin Harris, etc. Calvin’s music is soo fun I loved the vibe of everyone jumping and having a really fun time, I would go and see him in concert again for sure. Some others inclued BTS, Normani, Cardi B, and G-Eazy. All of them had such good songs and I definitley had more appreciate for their music like I do after many concerts as well. Unfortunatley we had to leave to catch the train during Khalid and right before Cardi B’s performance (which she was up last), we had to but it was such a fun time and we even made friends with the mom in front of us 😂. She was looking out for us and kept checking on us because there were suppeerrr drunk people next to us, so that was interesting. She was so nice though.
I can’t believe I actualy got to experience Jingle Ball it was so much fun. Last year I remember calling every single day to try and win them, I was caller 98, 97 and others like that a couple of times but never caller 100. But that was okay because this past year we bought them and got to experience it, with actually good seats! (that we snuck to after being yelled at HA).
This concert was one of the best I have been to considerding there were like 14 artists that performed! Plus the ones from the All Access Lounge! I of course purchased a sweatshirt so I can always have the memory with me, and becasue it has Shawn Mendes’ name on it too of courseeee. I can’t wait for what next year’s Jingle Ball is going to be like. Probably awesome.
