Panic! At The Disco Experience

Hi, thanks for clicking on this one!! Here I’m going to talk about my most recent concert that I went to, P!ATD. Brendon Urie is one of my all time favorite singers so this was a good one for sure.

My friends and I went together to the show on January 16th, 2019 at the Barclays Center. We made this a fun little two day trip instead of going to just the concert. We headed to the city on the morning of the 16th, took a train there, got to a super nice hotel by the afternoon and then patiently waited until the time of the concert. In the mean time we explored the city and went to Blacktap, which the milkshakes were SOO good there (my stomach didn’t think so). After we munched on some delicious food, we took a subway and arrived at the venue. Wow, this was actually happening.

Waiting eagerly with all the others outside of the arena, we knew this was going to be a great time. As soon as we walked in we headed straight to the long line for march where I got an awesome sweater (I’ll post a pic of it below).

After we got the merch we found our seats and WOWZA we had amazing seats. We were in section 28 row 14 which was direct side stage view, but we were so close it felt like we had one of the best spots in the house. We saw Two Feet opening act perform which was pretty cool. They have vibey music that’s fun to listen to. Kind of reminds me of music you would hear in a surf shop or something.

It was SOO close to showtime and all the fans were singing along to the background songs. There was Troye Sivan, Ariana Grande, Twenty One Pilot songs etc., yk many of the greats. Ah I love that vibe, getting happy just thinking abut it. So it was 8:00! and it was so close until Brendon took the stage. As soon as it was almost time a clock with the countdown for 10 minutes started ah it was so exciting! The minutes would go down and down until there were 10 seconds left! Fans were going crazy screaming left and right. 3! 2! 1! LIGHTS OUTS and the crowd (yes including me) went wild. So excited and so happy!

His opening song was (F a) Silver Lining, and let me tell you he started off with such a bang. My favorite songs I was looking forward to hearing were Hallelujah, The Ballad of Mona Lisa, Miss Jackson (where he did his amazing signature back flip), The Greatest Show (bc fav movie), and Bohemian Rhapsody! WOW he performed those songs so well and I will never not think about them when listening to the songs (which i do pretty much everyday for real).

Seriously I never wanted this night to end. He played 28 freaking songs, such a long, hardworking show, and I loved every single minute of it. Brendon’s concert was probably one of my top all time favorite shows that I have seen be put on, and that says a lot because I’m all about concerts and such and appreciate them so much!

He really is a genuine guy, he never let the fame get the best of him and always has a good time which is one of the things I love about him a lot. Pray For The Wicked album is definitely his best one and I can’t wait to hear what he’s got in store for the future.

From singing Death of a Bachelor in the crowd to singing Dying in LA (a tear-jerker) on a floating piano above the crowd, the whole production of the concert was breathtaking and you really could not take your focus off of him. Every aspect of the concert held interest and was just so fun. The band was also sooo good, the bassist, guitarist, along with the awesome orchestra too!

Once the encore came my PCD started to kick in before the post concert part event started. I knew I had to make the best of it though and enjoy the time I was having in that very moment. I had to live it up because I at least had the chance to experience this awesome concert in these awesome seats and all! The encore was amazing and ended with a bang as well.

So after the concert yes everyone was already missing the amazingly talented Brendon Urie, but at least they were playing more jams as everyone was leaving. The background music was a super catchy song and everyone was singing and dancing along just like from the background music playing before the concert so that was really fun.

Before we parted ways from the Barclays center we headed to the Subway which apparently everyone else was going there too. While we were waiting with the hugggeee crowd, someone was playing High Hopes and Hey Look Ma I Made It (which also are some of my favorite and meaningful songs 🙂 ). Everyone was singing along and dancing and having a good time! There was also a guy dancing in the middle of the crowd near us and some one got it on video and got noticed by Brendon!! So awesome I love when society comes together like that and just enjoys life and all.

Such good times and a time I will always be replaying. On my way to school I blast either Shawn Mendes or P!ATD so driving an hour is actually a fun time. I can’t wait to go to another one of his tours and experience another fun time!! I love watching him be awesome at doing what he loves to do. Foreshadowing.

I definitely would love to meet him and would love to give him a big hug. 🙂

So those two days were super fun with the concert and with the cool places we went to eat and the Museum of Illusions we went to also. Especially fun with a group of friends. I give this experience definitely a 12/10. Brendon never disappoints. Good times and good vibes.

Thanks for reading my Panic! experience hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Can’t wait to see what he has in store for the future to experience again.

He looks like he’s enjoying life right there which is super fun and inspiring!
